Mary’s journey from Jacksonville, FL to Los Angeles, CA, was fueled by her passion for both academics and athletics. At Biola University, Mary pursued a degree in Public Health while excelling as a collegiate volleyball player. The balance between academic challenges, athletic commitment, and part-time work shaped her discipline, leadership, and teamwork skills, which she is now excited to apply in her role as Program Supervisor at the Commission.
Throughout her academic journey, Mary developed a deep understanding of health systems, community wellness, and the vital intersection of public health and agriculture.
