University of California ‘Olive Oil Symposium 2017’ Set for January 17

If you haven’t already registered for the University of California Olive Center’s Olive Oil Symposium 2017 it’s not too late. Registration is open through the remainder of the week and you can sign up here until January 13th.

The Symposium takes place Tuesday, January 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the UC Davis Conference Center. Registration is $99 per person.

The agenda includes presentations from top industry and academic experts who will examine market trends, reveal new research and provide an update on activities of the Olive Oil Commission of California. The symposium also will review the best practices that growers and processers have employed to maximize their profitability.

A series of roundtable panel discussions is planned with topics ranging from California Olive Oil in the Marketplace, Keys to Grove Profitability and Impact on Quality; Processing Quality and Profitability; the Future of California Olive Oil as well as a summary of research impacting California olive oil.

Lunch will be provided.  Don’t miss this important event for all segments of the California olive oil industry.
